Fountain Valley Mobile App

Primary Objective: Getting social, local and mobile FAST —

Americans are going SoLoMo.  They shop socially, search locally and do it all on mobile devices. 

And if you’re not going SoLoMo like Fountain Valley you’ll be quickly left behind. The City of Fountain Valley realize the economic  benefits of bring a mobile app to their businesses and constituents. 

Recent research indicates the importance of SoLoMo for small businesses:  97% of consumers now serarch for lcoal busiensses online, 72% trust online reviews, 61% of young people refer to social media to decide where to go when they go out.  Most compelling: 78% of small businesses now get at least a quarter of their new customers via social media.   “Today’s consumers are using mobile devices to access social media and business sites,” says Suzanne Madison, marketing strategist for Allegra Consulting.  They’re roaming the streets clutching smartphones and tablets, looking for things to do or to buy.”   The importance of getting residents to shop where they live is significant and will make or break small cities. 

The City of Fountain Valley teamed up with Cty611 to bring a custom mobile app to promote and fuel local businesses.   The recently launched EXPFV mobile app features discounts, promos, coupons and daily deals.  Fountain Valley residents have access to every local business in their town and can access information via their Smart Device. 

Our team worked with City Leadership and the Cty611 Mobile App team to bring Experience FV to life.
