SoCal’s Golden Opportunity Regional Pop-up Environment Wins a 2018 Los Angeles Addy Award

Allegra Consulting (Allegra) is proud to be the recipient of a 2018 Los Angeles American Advertising Award (Addy)– The Addy’s are a part of the world’s largest advertising contest and considered a prestigious achievement in the advertising industry.

The Allegra Team was hired by the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership and worked closely with a committee of city leaders and their representatives and our top-notch creative team to design and produce SoCal’s Golden Opportunity regional marketing pop-up environment.  San Gabriel Valley’s pop-up environment was intended to promote economic development and allow people to engage with the region’s impressive assets from a tradeshow display experience.  The pop-up environment was designed in a cohesive manner to market 31 cities and their celebrated communities.  The displays showcase world-renowned universities and colleges, famed health, multi-modal transportation, and international events and attractions, all while recruiting national retailers, developers and investors to the valley.  “Working with the SGV committee and our in-house team was a wonderful experience,” said Suzanne Madison, CEO of Allegra.  “Winning a Los Angeles Addy is a huge accomplishment and well-deserved for a project such as this one,” said Madison.

The San Gabriel Valley has 31 unique cities located along the 210, 10 and 60 freeways, and beautiful San Gabriel Mountains. Pop-up retail shops present a great way to engage and experience a brand, in a unique environment that also allows people to connect with each other.  The San Gabriel Valley pop-up environment has been used for several events and activities around the valley and debuted at the International Council of Shopping Centers held in Las Vegas in May 2017.
